As a software company we are always in a state of change. We strive to make our products and services better for our customers and that can only happen through change. But what happens when that decision to change is not voluntary or planned and you are forced to take steps during a time of crisis like we are today? It can be scary, but at the same time exciting to know that you have an opportunity to change things for the better and push towards something that otherwise may never have been realized.

Quorum’s XSellerator division has embraced the fact that our world and industry as we know it has changed. For the last couple of months, we have been diligently working on training methods and process that will ensure that Quorum will continue to provide our increase dealership productivity and customers with effective services that and profitability. Due to restrictions in travel and social distancing the entire automotive industry has had to rethink the way that business is conducted and adapt.

So instead of digging our heels in and waiting for things to return to normal, we have been proactively working towards the next normal, retooling our training and coaching functions to make remote training an effective alternative to on-site services.

While some of these changes may have been encouraged by the health and economic crisis we are currently facing, we feel that these modifications to our processes will undoubtedly strengthen our training connections with our customers while providing more consistent and reliable training methods. Some of our more notable changes we have made are:

  • Presentation tools that create a more collaborative and interactive experience for learner and trainer.
  • Reinforcement material that helps learners continue their training beyond the remote training session(s).
  • A more comprehensive list of available remote training services.
  • Updated training methods to help our trainers connect with learners on different levels.

Even with all these improvements, the success of remote training really comes down to one simple fundamental approach. The trainer and trainee(s) must align their objectives and ensure they are achieved. This will require diligence on both sides of the screen. If objectives are met though properly conducted training and learning, then remote training can be just as effective, and in some cases, more effective than on-site training. Once this is achieved, dealerships can enjoy the side benefits that also accompany remote training, such as reduced costs, flexible scheduling and course adaptability.

On-Site Training offers you the opportunity to have your employees trained at your dealership, learning at their work stations utilizing real on-the-job scenarios while minimizing downtime. Customized to fit your needs, On-Site Training also gives you flexibility to choose the training that best fits the needs of your team when it’s convenient for you.

DMS Training

Training Catalog

The Training Catalog permits you to browse the content of available training courses that can be conducted for users at your dealership to increase their usage and proficiency with XSᴇʟʟᴇʀᴀᴛᴏʀ. These courses are instructor led using conference calls and web-based tools.
